Then join Device Manufacturing Development where we seek 2 Packaging Engineers for the department for Product Maintenance About the department You will join a team of dedicated and highly competent colleagues and be at the crossroad between Device Research & Development (R&D), Quality and Production. The team is supporting the entire range of Novo Nordisk products, and the technical product knowledge is anchored here. The department is design and specification responsible for all elements of the marketed products, including packaging materials, e.g. cartons, labels and leaflets and finished packed products. Our specifications determine required quality to release products, and are vital to ensure that Novo Nordisk deliver a quality product to customers all over the world. We drive numerous projects related to the above areas within product specifications improvements, SOP compliance, standardisations, training and follow-up on quality activities. The job We seek Packaging Engineers for two jobs: In the Sourced Packaging Specifications job, you own and develop packaging specifications for cartons, labels and leaflets and their derived release specifications. You work with suppliers globally to improve the quality of our sourced packaging materials and support solving non-conformities from the supplier production. In the Finished Products Packaging Quality job you own and develop the packed end-products release specifications, that determine the quality required for Novo Nordisk products globally. You work with all Novo Nordisk production sites to develop and roll out the improvements support solving non-conformities from the Novo Nordisk production sites. In both jobs you will also participate in device development projects to ensure that our future products have the best packing solutions and keep marketed products packaging specifications updated. As part of this work you will also establish and maintain risk analysis for the packaging materials and finished packed products. The position gives you the chance to interact with a large number of contacts in Device R&D, QA, regulatory affairs, customer service and affiliates along with production sites and suppliers globally. Qualifications You hold an Engineering degree ideally combined with experience within packaging and labelling processes (in-house NN packaging operation or external) for the Finished Products Packaging job, and within packaging materials and cooperation with suppliers for the Sourced Packaging Specifications job. In both jobs experience with quality assurance within the pharmaceutical industry and a sound understanding of risk management systems is preferred. However we would also like to hear from talented newly academic graduates within engineering, for example medicine and medico systems. As a person, you are quality-conscious and you are known for your high commitment to finding constructive solutions as well as taking responsibility for your assignments. You work independently and make decisions in complex systems and tasks and ensure the right balance between quality demands, authority demands and business needs and see the benefits of standardisation solutions. At the same time you perform well in a team-oriented environment, where cooperation is key to successful projects; Solid spoken and written English skills are required.
