Do you have experience with design processes and management? Then become our go-to person and drive exciting cross-organisational projects which build real value right across the LEGO Design Organisation. Implement design initiatives As you join the 7 person Design Management Team, your mission will be to research, develop, manage and implement Design Leadership Team (DLT) initiatives across the LEGO Design Organisation. This entails collaborating with numerous stakeholders as well as engaging in areas such as design processes and tools, people and resources and design culture. You work both on a tactical and operational level and more specifically, you will be responsible for: - Implementation of DLT initiatives. This includes progress reviews, updating current tools, exploring new methodologies and ensuring that good practice is widely shared. - Overseeing external design resources, managing recruitment and onboarding and aligning goals across design functions. - Ensuring alignment among all stakeholders. You set the project direction, always focusing on meeting quality and time standards. - Ensuring that we follow the guidelines established by the Design Leadership Team. Collaboration and creativity As Design Management Manager, you fully embrace the LEGO Values. You will take on a key role as you work across a multi-disciplinary organisation to help the Design Leadership Team unite the strategy with design visions. Design process experience and keen networking skills - You may have worked with Design Management and have experience defining design processes. - You take a holistic approach to projects, but you are able to zoom in on specific details if needed to drive progress and content. - With your enthusiasm and excellent leadership skills, you motivate others to perform. At them same time, you take the lead on the execution of cross-design activities. This means you are driven to achieve and are ready to take your passion for design to a wider audience. - You create impact in the organisation through your ability to communicate visually to a design audience and beyond, and by using your experience with facilitating creative events and workshops. - Prioritising and networking skills are keys to succeeding in this position, as you will be collaborating across a large organisation and dealing with numerous stakeholders. - You have an understanding of communication across different platforms and can easily move between digital and physical content.
