LOOKING FOR A STRATEGIC ACCOUNT MANAGER - CONTRACT
Muuto is an international design company that works with leading contemporary designers to deliver new perspectives on Scandinavian design across furniture, lighting and accessories. We are headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark with employees in 15 countries across the globe.
We are experiencing rapid growth and are therefore looking for Strategic Account Manager for our Contract division to strengthen our sales department further. The position reports to Global Sales Director.
Role
As part of our rapid development within the contract market, Muuto is increasingly supplying large corporation with entities around the world, international hotel chains etc. To support and accelerate the development within this segment, we have created this new position as Strategic Account Manager.
Your main responsibility is to identify new potential strategic end customers for Muuto and initiate collaboration with those as well as developing the relationship with our existing Strategic Accounts and formalize the collaboration. You will be an important link between our regional sales teams and our strategic accounts ensuring agreements are implemented regionally, in line with our overall sales strategy.
As our Strategic Account Manager, you must have extensive experience within furniture and/or lighting contract sales and preferably you have been working with Strategic Accounts on an international basis. You can open new accounts, you are excited to see sales grow and eager to contribute with your solutions. Then you might be our new colleague!
Tasks and responsibilities
Open new strategic accounts
Negotiate supply agreements
Develop and maintain our existing portfolio of strategic accounts which includes international corporations, hospitality and fashion brands
Collaborate and communicate with regional contract sales managers, ensuring fulfillment of agreements.
Desired skills & experience
Ability to do cold call, research, and source potential business and follow up sales enquiries
Ability to act independently and making decisions within company policy
Experience in selling to the international furniture and/or lighting contract market
In position of an established client base with strong relations to senior decision makers
Documented success and experience with managing key accounts and large projects.

Self-drive and result orientation which makes you able to leverage insights and turn them into actions
Strong negotiating and closing skills
Organized and a very effective time manager
Ability to travel away from home and to work extended hours
Team player with strong co-operation skills
Strong communicator and ability to build relationships both internally and externally.

The position is preferably based at Muuto Head Office in Copenhagen, but not a must
Salary according to qualifications.
Qualifications
HA, HD, cand.merc, Maketing Management or similar.
Fluent English oral and written and it is an advantage if you also speak German and/or French
Experienced user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
