As Additive Manufacturing Engineer in the Additive Manufacturing (AM) department in Grundfos, you will join a great and passionate team of highly skilled colleagues, who are adamant on applying new technologies to transform our production setup and processes. Take this opportunity to be part of maturing AM processes and transforming how we produce our products in Grundfos 5-10 years from now.
Join a skilled AM team
In the AM team, we break new ground and collaborate closely with our Business Development and external partners to establish AM as the future production technology in Grundfos. We focus on both research in new AM technologies and maturing known AM processes for production with the full support of our top management.
Develop and mature new and existing AM technologies
Your work will have a great impact on the way we work and the processes and systems that we use. To have this impact, you will be driving your own projects until they are implemented. Thus, you will both work as an engineer and take a project manager role as you:
- Set the technical direction and work as an engineer in the projects, solving the technical task
- Scope the project and set the team for specific projects
- Create documentation and training material for future users
- Acting as the expert on the AM technologies in the projects
- Collaborating closely with our Core Technology organization on cross-functional projects linking product development and production development

We have used 3D printing for prototypes and to optimize our production for more than 15 years, and we are now taking the next steps for this technology to become one of our future production technologies", says Manager, Additive Manufacturing, Thorsten Brorson Otte.

- Hold a master's degree in engineering or similar
- Have knowledge of project management
- You have some practical experience with AM technologies as well as production processes
- You communicate effortlessly in English
On a personal level, you have an outgoing and curious personality. You are a team player with excellent networking skills, and you can interact with various stakeholders and communicate messages based on facts at all levels of the organization. Lastly, you are persistent and independent, taking your project all the way across the finish line.
