For our Rotor Performance Department in Blades R&D at our global head office in Brande we are looking for an Aerodynamic Design Engineer. The Blades Upgrade Team, which is dedicated to the development of our future products, consists of 9 highly skilled engineers with a multi-cultural background and is responsible for design and validation of aerodynamic upgrades to optimize power performance of our wind turbines. Furthermore the team contributes to our future rotor design technology. The team is a part of the What are my responsibilities? As an aerodynamics engineer you will contribute to the technology development of aerodynamic solutions for our rotors and to the development of aerodynamic analysis and validation tools. Furthermore, you carry out aerodynamic analysis and optimization of turbine performance. More specifically: · Design and validation of aerodynamic add-ons · Field and wind tunnel validation of aerodynamic performance · Perform aerodynamic analysis of wind turbine rotors · Design and upgrades of wind turbine rotors in general What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have an engineering degree (MSc) in a relevant field · You have a general understanding of wind turbine aerodynamics · Preferably experience in aerodynamic modeling and validation from the wind turbine industry or similar · You are familiar with experimental flow analysis techniques · You are result oriented, structured and capable of keeping perspective in a project structured organization · You are self-driven, inventive, proactive and outgoing · You possess strong communication and English skills In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
