The Transformation Office in Retail Banking Transformation & Support is looking for a person to join the Agile Office. The Agile Office is responsible for the overall agile implementation in Retail Banking. We are seeking an experienced agile practitioner. As an agile coach you will train and coach managers, management teams and business partners to start up and maintain agile ways of working. You will achieve results through skilful balancing of your professional expertise, hands-on experience and personal ability to influence people. Retail Banking is going through a transformation, and you will also be responsible for supporting this. Focus on agile is high, and you need to support the IT units in establish best practice in agile practice and effective team composition. The position we offer Becoming agile in system development is a key enabler for Nordea’s ability to better meet the customer expectations. We are currently driving a major transformation effort in the IT organisation. You will drive change of mind-set and behaviour in the organisation with the following means: •Educate managers in agile ways of working, agile principles, values and practices •Plan and drive implementation of agile practices together with the manager, team lead or project manager, encompassing both business and IT dimensions and roles •Provide hands-on support and lead by example •Act as a coach for managers, scrum masters and product owners in agile leadership •Share knowledge and experience across the organisation through coaching and Lean & Agile Network •Provide thought leadership in agile and coaching/support to IT units in establishing best practice and effective team composition •Act as coach to help areas scaling scrum with multiple team setup. The qualifications you need We expect you to possess strong communication and facilitation skills. You enjoy working with teams and you are used to coach and lead people towards common goals. You motivate and energize people you work with. You are highly self-driven with strong focus on driving change both on mind-set and in behaviour and able to challenge ways of working in a positive and constructive way. You are flexible and solution oriented with a focus on quality and results, taking a holistic perspective in removing impediments. You are a competent team player who finds it natural to share knowledge and ideas with colleagues and develop your networks both internally and externally. You hold a high working capacity and a track record of delivering results. You are well organized and work systematically. Key competences needed for the job A Scrum Master and / or Product Owner certification (CSM / CPO) will provide a sound basis for your work. Practical experience in acting in either of these roles is a must – we value sound experience over theoretical knowledge. You embrace the agile values and principles and are passionate about conveying the message further. Project Manager and / or Line Manager background with experience in driving change is a valuable asset. A good sense of humour is an important part of your change management toolbox. Knowledge about SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or LeSS (Large Scale Scrum) and experience on how to apply on a multi team setup is of high value. Practical experience of using JIRA tool for backlog management is a bonus. Fluency in the English language, both orally and in writing is a must, but also working proficiency in a local language is needed.
