Lokation DK - Smørum .If you want to help designing the next generation of state-of-the-art IC components for Oticon’s market-leading hearing aids, then we have an exciting and challenging job for you. To develop the world’s best hearing aids, it is necessary to adapt and optimize the IC components. That is why IC design is a core competence at Oticon. We deal with the newest IC technologies and we place emphasis on a professional and innovative working environment. Our new Analog IC designer will be a part of the “Silicon Engines” domain, which is responsible for designing and evaluating ICs for hearing aids in William Demant. The department consists of 10 analog and 25 digital IC designers as well as 15 FW designers. Your technical challenge - Design of Analog Circuits: As IC designer in Oticon, you will be involved in all phases of development from pre-study to evaluation of ICs. Together with system architects, you will break down the system requirements into block requirements. Your responsibility will be to identify the best topology for the relevant block and perform the design, layout and verification in compliance with the specifications. You will have responsibility for design documentation and participate in design reviews. You will be responsible for the verification of your design, allowing you to evaluate performance and debug the created design. Also, you will create test specification for external production test sites. This allow you to work together with the FW team and the product development department to ensure optimal utilization of the ICs. In this way, you will gain insight into the practical implementation and application of our ICs. You will be part of a team with professional and skilled IC developers who take enormous pride in their profession and are creating unique electronic solutions. Solid experience in IC development We expect you to have a MSc in Engineering or a Ph.D. in electronics or IC design. You either have worked several years with analog IC design or are newly graduated within this field. The qualification for this job is a comprehensive knowledge of and experience in IC design and IC design flow in combination with a real passion for this area. As a person, you are eager to establish effective relations across functions and interact in multi-disciplinary teams. Your have an innovative and creative approach and can be characterized as structured and self-driven.
