In this position, you will work with the latest technologies within hearing solutions and by utilizing your ingenuity to create mobile apps that change the lives of people with hearing impairments.
Joining GN Hearing, we develop hearing instruments and accessories for our ReSound, Beltone and Interton brands to increase quality of life for our customers living with hearing losses. With our hearing aid solutions, we aim to make people feel included, and our goal is to help people hear more, do more and be more than they thought possible.
Help build apps that changes people’s lives
As our new mobile app developer, you will be working with award-winning hearing solutions with ground breaking, innovative apps that connect to hearing aids via Bluetooth. All our apps are developed for both Android and iOS, using the Xamarin framework, and the user interface for both platforms are custom-made to give excellent user experiences.
Collaborating cross-functionally is one of the cornerstones to our success, and you will join a team of talented mobile app developers, testers, UX designers, product managers and audiologists. Together, you are responsible for developing concepts and mobile apps for our hearing aid users. In particular, you will:
• develop new mobile apps in C#, using the Xamarin framework
• maintain and improve existing apps for iOS and/or Android
• provide technical input to the design process to help create great user experiences, ensuring stability as well as usability

Due to the strong growth we are experiencing for our products, Connected Apps is now looking to strengthen the team with new colleagues. The position is located in Ballerup, Denmark, where you can expect up to 10 days of travel a year in connection with meetings orconferences in Denmark or abroad.

To do so, we structure our work in agile Scrum teams in a SAFe framework.
• You have a degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent.
• You have some years of experience within the field of sw development.
• You are passionate about C# – and you have some experience with mobile app development for iOS or Android.
• You are interested in working in Xamarin-native environment – we do not expect you to be an expert.
• You have experience with Mobile apps communicating with backend and/or external hardware.
• You have a high proficiency in spoken and written English and being able to communicate in Danish is an advantage.
