Job Description

Danfoss is looking for an Application Expert for HVAC who will develop in-depth customer understanding of HVAC product portfolio by identifying areas where Danfoss can bring the greatest value.

By becoming a member of international team of HVAC Product Portfolio experts, with manager located in Slovenia, you will deliver high quality level of value proposition and offerings to customers and partners with Danfoss PICV and Digital actuators in HVAC applications (e.g. terminal units, air handling units, chillers). By building internal technical competencies across sales teams and partners you will contribute to development and establishment of application, training, test and demo-center with cross segment support to create pull activities. This way you will excel in building, developing and sharing of application knowledge with sales teams, partners and stakeholders using Danfoss existing and new, innovative and world market-leading products.

Ideal candidate’s background and skills
To be considered for this position you must hold an Engineering Degree within Electrical Engineering (or other similar technical area), strongly preferred to be supplemented by additional education in Business or Marketing. You should also hold minimum 3-5 years of experience as a system integrator/solution provider or having technical sales experience within system/application engineering services. In addition, you hold:

• Good industrial technical knowledge using BACnet, Modbus (while ZIGbee communication protocols and solid networking with key System Integrators is preferred)
• Strong business driving skills (self-motivated, result-oriented, able to communicate strategically and manage matrix stakeholders)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent communication skills in English
• Presentation skills for technical seminars and training at all levels

You should expect moderate traveling (cca 20% of your working time).
