Application research scientist for Household Care R&D, Bagsvaerd (DK) We are seeking a creative and result-oriented application research scientist to help drive the development of enzymes for household care consumer products. You’ll be part of a dynamic department of 14 scientists and technicians based in Bagsvaerd, Denmark. Your focus in this position will be on developing solutions for dish cleaning within automated and manual dish washing. This will include development of application assays, enzyme performance testing as well as mechanistic understanding and characterization of enzymes in application. You will be working in the lab, setting up lab scale test models as well as coordinating and running trials with lab technicians. Being a team player is important as you will be part of teams both in different projects and in the department. You are inspired by developing real products, and you are able to link business needs to development of new enzyme products. Being a scientist, you strive for excellence and generating high quality data in a structured way. In addition, the position will require a creative mindset developing new test methods and solutions within dish washing application and also implementing these within the given deadline. In this position you need to have:•A strong scientific background (PhD or MSc level) in i.e. biotechnology, chemistry, biochemistry or food science combined with work experience within application research preferably enzyme related •A strong scientific mindset, with a flair for statistics •Work well under pressure to keep deadlines •An outgoing attitude with a positive mind and like to work in a team •Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Are you the next Zymer in our team?
