Are you experienced in complex lifting operation using heavy lift and jack up vessels? You will work side by side with the Installation Management Team in the planning, execution and closure phases of the project.

Tasks & responsibilities: You will… 

…be responsible for establishing safe and efficient systems of work, lift, rigging plans and calculations. You will support the Installation Manager and Project Team in the planning, execution and closure phases of projects and strive for continual improvement through evaluation and liaison with stakeholders.   You will also be responsible for:  

• Supporting the management of interfaces between MVOW, Client and Installation Vessel owner to ensure lifts are carried out according to QHSE standards
• Ensure that all equipment thoroughly examined and is certified fit for use and routine intermediate inspections are carried out   
• Delegation of duties but not responsibilities to the crane supervisor
• Ensure that crane supervisor and other members of the lifting team are fully briefed on the contents, scope and limits of the method statement associated risks 
• Have in-depth knowledge of legislations (LOLER, PUWER) regulations and codes of Practice that relate to all types of lifting duties inclusive of. basic, standard and complex lifting operations as defined in e.g. BS7121
• Have in-depth knowledge of DNVGL-ST-N001, ASME and OSHA standards
• Calculate weights and centres of gravity for different types of loads, defines required rigging and sling angles. Calculates lifting equipment point loads and specifies mat types and sizes to dissipate ground loadings

…has a technical education and background combined with 5 years of experience with lifting operations and at least 2 years of experience with planning lifting operations in an environment where QHSE plays a significant role. You thrive in an environment focused on creating good and beneficial relationships with all stakeholders while never compromising with internal processes and procedures. As a person, you are outgoing and have excellent stakeholder management skills. It is important that you can influence and motivate the team in a calm and determined way.   We expect that you:  

• Hold a CPCS Blue Card (Appointed Person), minimum level 5 NVQ for lifting operations or similar  
• Are a problem-solver with a result-oriented mindset  
• Are loyal, focused and take full responsibility of your business area 
• Have previously worked on large-scale projects 
• Have good IT skills (AutoCAD 2D_3D modelling, Microsoft-based platforms, ERP and coordination systems) 
• Are fluent in English (verbal and written)
