Can you work with innovative product development in close cooperation with other technical professionals? Then you could be the Approval Engineer we seek at Danfoss Residential Heating. You will become responsible for the approval of our product and laboratory. This implies establishing all the necessary approval processes in a new department. You are offered a unique job opportunity where you will be able to put all your technical skills into play and as such have the chance to set your mark on a brand new project in the development phase. You will be part of a highly specialised team working intensively with innovation and product development. Building relations and conveying requirements As Approval Engineer your mission will be to ensure that our equipment, laboratory and product meet the requirements and are approved by the authorities. This implies that the requirements are known in the organisation, plans are developed and agreed upon with authorities, time and costs are optimised and that the actual approval process is executed. This involves close contact with relevant authorities, ensuring the necessary documentation, executing tests internally and externally as well as evaluating test results and negotiating with authorities to achieve the desired results. You will become our approval specialist and additional tasks will be to: •establish good relationships with authorities internationally •construct systems regarding certifications •ensure availability of relevant standards and certifications and compile them for relevant stakeholders •execute tests in the laboratory and provide input to the marketing material regarding the products The job entails some travelling, approx. 20-50 days per year. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to analyse and compile complex standards You hold a technical background and are experienced in working with approval processes. You have an analytical mindset, and you have the ability to read, understand and convey specifications and requirements from standards. You are structured and you have the aptitude for creating overview. You are a team player though you are not afraid of being on your own among international authorities. You are a good communicator and you master English on negotiation level – both in speech and writing.
