We develop, produce and market complete HVAC/R and controls systems for Marine, Navy & offshore applications, and are among the world’s leading suppliers in this field. We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive for the Marine & Offshore business to strengthen our customer relationships and to drive sales revenue globally. The sales will be for the complete palette of ocean going vessels from container vessels to offshore supply vessels, drill ships and platforms. The Sales Executive proactively drives opportunities, builds productive customer relationships and works effectively with operational & technical teams. The role reports to the Global Sales & Marketing Manager and is based in Holme, Denmark. Role and responsibilities •As the expert within refrigeration and refrigeration systems successfully handle complex sales projects within this specific technical field •Support the sales team based on the expertise •Develop solid partnerships with existing and new customers, ensuring to reference Johnson Controls on the Makers Lists •Ensure focus on new buildings and system sales, including design, HVAC & R equipment and commissioning •Get inquiries and follow up on quotations •Coordinate quotes from sub suppliers to integrate in the quotes to customers •Collaborate closely with the technical and operational support teams in Denmark and China •Build a solid knowledge of the rules and notations in the Marine & Offshore sectors •Negotiate contracts, understanding payment and shipping terms Kvalifikationer Functional Skills & Competencies •Wins with customers: sense of urgency, service and quality, aiming for partnership •Communicate with impact: across the layers of the organization and across boundaries, in both oral and written communication •Strong presentation skills towards internal and external parties •Team player mind set Experience & background •Track record of relationship building and networking – having an existing network in the Marine & Offshore business definitely is a strong point •Expert knowledge within refrigeration and refrigeration systems, interested in adding the HVAC field to the working area •Ability to deliver in a multicultural environment •Entrepreneurial approach, understanding the customers’ business and bringing them our added value •Good listening and analytic skills •Strong negotiator •Open to travel 60 – 80 days per year •Fluent in written and spoken English Offer Johnson Controls offers a competitive salary package and benefits.
