Maersk Container Industry (MCI) is looking for an Assistant for Claim Handling to our Headquarter in Tinglev, Denmark. We Offer An interesting and independent job in a stable working environment. As Assistant you will assist our Head of After Sales Network in Claim Handling and be part of our Global After Sales Network. In this position you will handle incoming claim reports from our global Service Providers or Workshops and approve, clarify doubts before approval or reject the claims. You will improve already existing reports and have to develop and create new reports according to requirements from other departments. MCI is located in Tinglev in Southern Denmark. You will be in close proximity to cities like Sønderborg, Kolding and Flensburg. We are present locally, but act globally. At MCI Tinglev we have an informal tone amongst ourselves. We work hard, we are aware of our contribution to global trade, and we still have a lot of fun. Key Responsibilities As Assistant for claim handling you will be responsible for: • Review of incoming claim reports from our global Service Provider or Workshops. • Improving already existing reports and developing and create new reports after requirements. • Interacting with suppliers (Service Providers) Who we are looking for The ideal candidate has a relevant technical education and experience working with quality systems from a similar position. This position calls for an analytical and structured person. You should enjoy working in details as the work is highly precise in nature and requires a very strong attention to details. As the tasks require a careful adherence to well-defined work where repeatable results are needed, you should thrive with routine tasks. MCI operates all over the world. You must be comfortable in an international setting and understand different cultures. Of course, you are fluent in written and spoken English. You have special skills within Excel, data warehouse and database systems.
