The number of people with diabetes is increasing dramatically. Therefore, Novo Nordisk is expanding the insulin filling capacity in Hillerød by building a new facility. To succeed with this ambitious project we need people with a pioneer spirit, that have high engagement and who thrive in a constant changing environment.

About the department
Wash & Sterilisation (W&S) is divided into two teams each responsible for different equipment and processes within the Wash & Sterilisation area. The Wash & Sterlisation2 team are responsible for our new CPE’s (Closed Process equipment) and CIP/SIP cabins. The team consists of 7 academics, 5 skilled workers and 6 operators working together to get the processes, equipment and documentation validated and approved for production.

The job
You will be the Associate Manager of the Wash & Sterilisation team and report to the Sr. Manager for W&S and EM (Environmental Monitoring). Your team will be responsible for the implementation of above equipment including validation, manning, ramp up and regulatory approvals. The team will work closely together with the vendor of the equipment, the engineering partner and the other teams in the project.

The goal is to ensure that the equipment within your area of responsibility will become fully functional at all times and ready for inspections and audits. To this end, your team makes sure that it operates in full compliance with GMP standards. Your team will handle the documentation, including preparation of specification requirements for the users and validation activities. One of the most important tasks for you and your team is to establish a setup that significantly reduces the risk of generating non-conformities both during the project and production.

Qualifications
We expect that you hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or similar and have solid experience from the pharmaceutical industry as a People Manager. Ideally you will also have experience within project management and knowledge within the processes in Wash & Sterilisation. It is crucial that you work close together with your team in a motivating and coaching manner, with the purpose of creating ambitious and realistic plans with continuous follow-up, to ensure that we meet our milestones timely. Furthermore you thrive in a constant changing environment, and you handle unforeseen challenges with a can-do approach.

You are a social and positive type of person and you work in a proactive and solution oriented manner. Knowledge sharing comes natural to you and you work systematically and with dedication to create extraordinary results together with your employees and other stakeholders. You have a strong sense of quality and know the importance of complying with the standards and regulations of an aseptic production environment. We expect you to be fluent in Danish and English.
