Then we have the right job for you as Associate Manager for CMC QC Microbiology. We are responsible for microbiological quality control analyses for the new products in Biopharm. About the department Biopharm QC microbiology is a laboratory with high quality and LEAN standards. Right now, we are responsible for microbiological analyses on NovoSeven®, Novothirteen®, NovoEight ®, Norditropin®, GlucaGen®Hypokit and new haemophilia products. We test samples from the entire supply chain from cell bank to finished products. The job The overriding focus area of this substantial career position is to ensure the CMC team deliver high quality documentation which can be used when filing new products. As Associate Manager you assemble, coach, motivate and set direction for your team and ensure that they perform well and meet Novo Nordisk’s aim to be a trusted leader in haemophilia. It is equally your job to make sure that we work in a culture of continuous improvements. For this, you set the KPIs for your team and follow up accordingly. In this way, you focus on the target and use your will and skills to fulfil them. To make sure that we have the right resources and competences, you spearhead the personal and professional development of your team members. Last but not least, you will drive LEAN projects that enable us to bring our products faster to market. Qualifications First of all, you hold a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, engineering or a related discipline. You have a strong managerial and quality mindset and are used to driving improvement projects with focus on processes, quality and lead time. It is expected that you have microbiology insight. If you are familiar with QA/QC and production processes, it will be a major plus. As a person you are known for your positive attitude and for your documented ability to motivate people. You take ownership and work proactively to drive processes forward, and you are able to manoeuvre and prioritise in a dynamic and challenging environment with short deadlines. You thrive in the decision-making role where decisiveness and self-consciousness are crucial key words, and you know how to win acceptance through direct and clear communication.
