Then apply for the Associate Marketing Manager position in the Nordic/Benelux/Baltic (NBB) Marketing team This position provides you with unique learning opportunities within marketing management and marketing execution. You will learn how to develop and implement a strategic direction, as well as obtain thorough understanding of the Baltic markets in terms of retailers, consumers and competitors. Working in our office in Riga, Latvia You will join our Riga office, be part of our NBB Marketing team, and report to the Senior Marketing Manager based in Sweden. However, on a daily basis you will be cooperating closely with - and be a key sparring partner for - the local Country Manager and the local sales team covering the Baltic countries. This gives you the opportunity to provide important input to the SBU strategy and the SBU business plan, and to identify local marketing opportunities to be explored. The position is temporary with an expected timeline of 18 months - preferably with a starting date in February 2014. The NBB region is part of the European market division. The NBB Business Unit consists of 3 clusters; Nordic, Benelux and Baltic. The Brand and Trade Marketing Teams and the Operations department (based in Billund, Denmark) are working with a full market perspective that goes across all NBB SBUs – each NBB market has its own marketing responsible though. ATL marketing responsibility for activities in the Baltics As Associate Marketing Manager for the Baltics you will have the ATL marketing responsibility for the development and execution of the Baltic marketing strategy and marketing plan. As such, you will drive profitable consumer sales growth based on overall direction from the NBB marketing leadership team and the central Brand and Trade Marketing Teams. You will be looking to build insights on consumers, customers and competitors in the region and become familiar with the market and retail structure. Further, you will be participating in local sales meetings and in general working as a fully integrated part of the local Baltic team, just as you will be part of a network and sharing best practices with colleagues responsible for ATL Marketing in the Nordic and Benelux markets. Solid Marketing Management background You have a degree in Marketing or Communication (bachelor or master level) or equivalent experience. In addition, you need to have a solid track record within marketing management, including media planning and media agency relations, budgeting, strategic planning, digital marketing, and working with market, competitor, customer and consumer insights. Also, you are an experienced user of the MS Office package. It is essential that you speak and write English fluently - optimally you also master the Latvian language. As a person, you are outgoing and able to speak up when necessary. As you will be having the full ATL budget responsibility, you need to have a flair for numbers and be structured. You also need to have a good business understanding, a networking mind-set and excellent communications skill, enabling you to be in close dialogue with media agencies as well as building strong relations across distance. Finally, you excel at executing plans and strategies, but can also manage to keep a basic strategic perspective.
