About the department Oral Drug Product consists of 35 dedicated and enthusiastic colleagues from nine different nationalities organized in three teams (formulation, analysis and pre-formulation/biophysics). Our shared ambition is to develop new formulations for oral delivery of proteins and peptides, and our tasks comprise activities within pre-formulation, biophysics, characterisation, formulation, analysis and generation of intellectual property. The job This position is within the Formulation team, where 13 skilled and highly engaged colleagues work together to develop novel oral solid dosage forms containing proteins and peptides. As an Associate Scientist, it will be your responsibility to perform, under the guidance of a lead project scientist, the formulation development of given R&D tasks assigned by the project. You will therefore spend most of your time in the laboratory. However, you will also be responsible for processing, reporting and presenting your results to team members and stakeholders. You will work closely together with Pharmacology, Analysis and other R&D teams within the Global Research Unit. Qualifications You hold a Bachelor or Master´s degree in Pharmaceutics, preferably within the field of Pharmaceutical Technology. You have good knowledge and hands on experience within common pharmaceutical technologies and processes, e.g. blending, granulation, tableting, and coating. Previous industrial experience within mentioned processes is a plus. You are a team player, flexible and goal oriented. You can work in a structured manner and are a good communicator as the position requires interaction with other scientists as well as with laboratory technicians.
