We Offer To maintain a license to operate, Maersk Drilling must comply with international and industry standards as well as our own internal processes and procedures. Our management system, SIRIUS, provides our drilling rigs, ships and employees with safe and efficient processes, on-shore as well as off-shore. The audit section is part of the Business processes and Verification department and is, among other things, responsible for verifying that we comply with laws, standards, regulations, processes and procedures when operating. To make that verification, we regularly carry out audits of our drilling rigs and drillships which are operating world-wide. We also audit our suppliers to make sure their methods and processes meet our strict requirements. With many rigs and drillships operating globally, hundreds of suppliers and an ambitious new-building programme, we need a new colleague in our audit team. Working with local offices and offshore rigs across the world, you will be an important partner to all parts of our global organisation. Key Responsibilities •Plan and carry out audits of our drilling rigs and ships to make sure they operate in accordance with our management system •Plan and carry out audits of our suppliers •Work with auditees to ensure that audit findings are turned into effective actions •Ensure that audit findings are closed out timely and in accordance with management system requirements. •Provide advice regarding quality and HSE issues and activities •Provide assistance to all personnel on- and offshore on applicable standards •Ensure that every audit is documented in an audit report, delivered to senior management You can expect up to 80-100 travel days per year, including trips to offshore units. Who we are looking for You have experience and preferably training in auditing, but for the right candidate Lead Auditor training can be provided. You are familiar with one or more of the following standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or OHSAS 18001. Knowledge of ISM is an advantage. You probably have a background in the drilling industry, or alternatively oil and gas or marine, but other technical, HSE, quality management or business backgrounds are also relevant. You hold offshore medical and HUET certificates or are in a shape that enables you to get them. You have a good eye for details and a flair for quality and consistency, yet you have a sense of urgency which helps you focus on getting the job done. You can see the big picture and are able to prioritise your own efforts. Your strong common sense and a fact-based approach to auditing helps you identify areas of improvement. As an important sparring partner to the business, you communicate clearly and effectively in English. You manage your stakeholders well and you feel comfortable working with all layers of the organisation.
