Gerstenberg Schröder is the unit within SPX Flow Technology that produces machines and plans for the ”Yellow Fats and Oils” industry. We are looking for an Automation Engineer for our automation department in Nyborg / Søborg, Denmark. The employee will be part of the team that performs programming of process plants for the food industry. The Job: You enjoy working with process solutions for the food industry, where you monitor the automation project all the way to the end. You will develop and commission the steering in close co-operation with our engineering departments in Søborg and Lübeck. The work will comprise programming of steering for single process lines as well as for complete production lines. Your work will consist in programming of PLC as well as SCADA/HMI. Usually you will participate in the starting-up of your steering, meaning that you have to expect 60-80 travel days per year. The Qualifications: We are looking for a dedicated employee who assumes responsibility and quickly is capable of independent action It is a big advantage if you bring the following skills: Siemens S7 / TIA Portal / Allen Bradley Logix 5000 Factory Talk View SE/ME from Rockwell Automation Read and understand P&I Diagrams Knowledge of electrical installations Knowledge of the machinery directive EN60204-1 Work systematically with several projects at the same time Engineering or Automation Technician background with relevant experience Performance driven Analytically minded / Structured / Flexible Good team worker Fluent in English oral and written, as well one other Scandinavian language preferred e.g. Danish or Norwegian Experience from the process or food industry will be an advantage.
