You will be part of competent and innovative team, responsible for the development and design of automation solutions for our products. Main tasks/activities: • Implement and test software solution into ongoing customer projects. • Developing and maintaining our existing software solutions and challenge hardware solution. • Preparing outlines for the technical documentation and cost price calculations. • Testing machines and in troubleshooting both internally and on-site at our customers. • The position involves travelling, estimated 20-50 days per year depending on your individual interest for this activity. Qualifications Other tasks and responsibilities: • You are a skilled engineer with proven experience in development and design of modular plant automation solutions for machinery in the food processing industry. • The right candidate is expected to be familiar with major platforms which are Siemens, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi. • Keeping updated with the latest trends in industrial automation, knowledge of the EC Directive on Machinery, functional safety, servo motion, network topology as well as a general flair for IT are essential qualifications. Knowledge of control techniques will also be an advantage. • Your creativity enables you to visualize several solutions, and your ability to apply analysis, structure and a systematic approach to your work forms the basis of your capability to choose the best solution. • You are committed and passionate about your work and you are confident to express your opinion – also regarding mechanics, pneumatics, process techniques, and cooling. Your personal drive makes you self-motivating, and you are able to work individually while at the same time value good teamwork. • You have a positive attitude, you are a flexible colleague, and enjoy working in a professional yet informal working environment. • You are also proficient in Danish and English language.
