We are looking for an experienced automation specialist to fill a new position in the engineering and operation area. Our new automation specialist will participate in on-boarding equipment, act as automation and electrical responsible in technical projects i.e. scopes, design, project execution plans, cost estimates and schedules as well as coordinating and overseeing of the implementation and testing of the automation and electrical packages until delivery to the internal customer. During project execution you will oversee the daily operations of field work and organization of contractors; ensuring it is being built correctly; project schedules and forecasts; interpretation of drawings for technicians; review of engineering deliverables; redlining drawings; bill of materials creation and maintenance; effective communications between engineering, technical, construction, and project lead. While technical expertise and ability to execute projects are essential, it is equally important that you have the ability to handle day-to-day situations regarding safety, environmental, GMP, construction and operations. Tasks and Responsibilities • Responsible for taking automation lead in on-boarding of new equipment i.e. SCADA, electrical and automation installations used for production equipment. • Provide detailed automation and electrical engineering support to ensure projects and routine operation are executed in a technical sound manor as well as safe, environmentally compliant, efficient and cost effective. • Request for proposals, quotations, planning, oversee and coordination of internal and external resources, perform installation, operation and performance test. • Prepare, maintain and optimize our electrical and automation documentation, procedures, technical descriptions and quality documentation. We are looking for a new colleague with a positive attitude, the ability to anticipate and challenge situations, critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to develop economic, technical execution plans to be able to make a sound recommendation. Your Profile • GMP experience or at least GMP knowledge. • Degree in engineering and/or 5+ years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry. • A strong scientific background is required with one or several of the mentioned requirements: o SCADA. o Control & automation solutions. o Electricity and production equipment. • Experience in project execution and startup of new equipment and process improvements in chemical plants.
