If working with an experienced core engineering team on our proprietary database supporting the fastest and most stable log management solution sounds like a good opportunity to apply and challenge your skills, you may very well be who we’re looking for as our new back-end engineer.
You’ll be working with distributed systems and high-performance search development to remove the constraints of traditional logging solutions. Contributing from day 1 with your knowledge of Scala or other JVM based languages and experience with Cloud Native software and containers, you’ll play an integral part in helping Humio enter the next stage of our journey.
Success in the job is manyfold, but most important is that we together 1) keep Humio stable and maintain its high-speed, cost-effective performance and 2) enable you to grow your skills and prompt your curiosity to take your career in the direction you dream of.
To best ensure this, you have worked with search and database systems previously, know your Scala/JVM based languages, and are comfortable in a high-paced environment with (sometimes) short deadlines. Equally important, we especially value people with a team-player mentality. People who are humble enough to realize they aren't always right but confident enough to share their ideas, even if they might be wrong. Last, but not least, we’re proud of what we do and you must be equally proud of the work you do.
