For an ambitious and experienced Business Intelligence and Data professional, Vestas offers a unique position requiring extensive data, analytics and consulting skills. It is essential that you will take the lead in key knowledge/process areas implicating great level of complexity, large cross functional engagement and high business impact. This position will offer an experienced profile the opportunity to impact the future strategy within finance processes. Sourcing and Supply Chain Performance, Global Finance Operational performance & cost control (OP&CC), a department under Vestas Global Finance, is responsible for ensuring objective and transparent decision making by delivering excellent performance reporting and analysis to relevant stakeholder and senior/executive management. We drive performance culture by ensuring ambitious and realistic target setting and keeping stakeholders accountable for target gaps and ensuring root cause counter measures are implemented. To stay competitive it is imperative that Vestas is dedicated to financial performance, hence OP&CC ensures to transform performance management knowledge into tangible P&L and balance sheet impact, enabling accurate guidance for financial and strategic decision making. Responsibilities: Lead Developer/Power User in the future data structure setup and reporting setup within Business Performance Management as well as architect of future datasets, and lead in defining data structure for optimal value add and simplicity. Focus will be on maintaining and constantly developing the data model as well as BI reports utilized in finance in order to meet business information needs and gain the intelligence needed for advanced analytics in finance. You will engage with business users, analysts, project managers as well as management regarding their information and analysis requirements. More specifically you will: Ensure optimal future architecture of future reports and datasets Develop new best-in-class reporting and analysis solutions Analyze reporting requirements and turn them into technical requirements (bridging gap between business and IT) Be the point-of-contact towards Global IT in order to fix potential operational issues and doing root causes analysis to ease the joint problem-solving Be the SME and lead BI projects within OP&CC with high quality outcomes (reports, dashboards etc.) Carry out controlling activities to ensure correct and high validity data Perform ad hoc spend analysis and ensure BI business documentation is up to date Qualifications: We expect candidates to have: A degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Science, Engineering or similar The ability to lead and manage projects – especially BI-related development projects Solid understanding of database principles & master data governance Detailed understanding of critical path of information flow and data analysis Super user of Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel incl. VBA) Experience with SQL or other database solution Experience with frontend tools like Report Builder, SharePoint, Access, Excel Services etc. is a an advantage Experience with SAP Query Designer, SAP BPC or similar is required Preferably experience with SAP ERP (MM) / Infor XA (Mapics) Competencies: Following skills and competences are expected: Extrovert, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Capable to comprehend complex solutions coupled with a strong analytical, structured & fact-based approach Very high ability to translate business requirements into programming, data analysis and reporting - and vice versa Quality oriented, can validate own data results Can communicate complex data structures and comprehensive data analysis in a simplified, holistic manner Proactive and self-driven, able to manage multiple tasks with varying timelines & priorities Structured and analyt
