Then you could be the BI Lead System Consultant we are looking for in Danfoss Business Intelligence Competence Center (BICC) in Sønderborg. BICC is the center for turning requests from the organisation into solutions and services providing effectiveness and reliability through extended customer attention. The department has a solid focus on building robust and scalable solutions, which are flexible and support the needs of the business. This job is an excellent opportunity to become an important contributor to bringing Danfoss BICC up amongst the best in class. At the same time, you develop your own interdisciplinary understanding, as BICC has a close cooperation across Danfoss within Finance, Supply Chain and Sales & Marketing. Designing technical architecture according to business demands Reporting to the Director of BI Solutions, your overall mission will be to create our future BI platform, using best practice within SAP Business Warehouse (BW) development. With your exhaustive experience with SAP BW, you will be the primary link between the business and IT regarding the specific BW architectural design and technical questions within a certain solution area. You will be responsible for the design of technical architecture by translating the BI business requirements (Business Blueprint) into a technical specification within the assigned solution/application area. Furthermore, your tasks will be to: •Support the BI Business Partners making requirement specifications •Support the BW Solution Architect in maintaining Danfoss Best Practice in the overall architecture of SAP BW/BI •Work from functional/business requirements to design and develop both data sources and BW object, e.g. information objects, information sources, data targets, transfer rules and update rules •Provide support and maintenance of the existing BW environments (development, quality assurance and production) •Review and approve specific BI BW developments •Coach the BI developers •Participate in various technology projects Technical background and business process knowledge You hold a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in computer science. You have solid working experience with SAP BW and in addition basic experience with project management. You have an overall business process knowledge and business understanding and your English skills are strong. On a more personal level, you are a self-driven, service-minded team player with good analytical capabilities. You have a structured approach to your work and take responsibility. Furthermore, you have both the power to challenge Business requests and the will to go the extra mile to secure the best possible solutions for the end users.
