In COWI we are experiencing an increased demand for our services. This strengthened position in the market brings a continuous flow of new challenging projects. Consequently, we are currently seeking to recruit 2 BIM Coordinators: one specialized in TEKLA and the other specialized in Civil 3D to join the Marine and Foundation Engineering department in our Lyngby office.

In the role as BIM Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the industry's most prominent engineers on some of the world's most complex and challenging offshore wind and marine projects. About you

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, or within graphical design or similar
• You have advanced knowledge about either TEKLA (Concrete & Steel) or CIVIL 3D, Navisworks and/or AutoCAD software
• You have strong 3D visualization capabilities
• You have the ability to perform under tight deadlines
• You possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

It will be an advantage if you also have experience working with Autodesk Revit.

Role profile: BIM Coordinator

Reporting to the Head of Section within the Ports and Terminals group, your responsibility will be to:

• Lead a physical or digital distributed team over several locations of TEKLA (Concrete and Steel) or CIVIL 3D BIM modelers
• Prepare 3D BIM model in TEKLA (concrete and steel) or CIVIL 3D for marine structures including piled jetties, retaining structures like diaphragm walls, sheet pile walls, embankments, steel structures, breakwaters and revetments etc.
• Mentor and train colleagues in Tekla 3D modelling software or Civil 3D software
• Clash detection and coordination of 3D models prepared in various software (TEKLA and Civil 3D) with Navisworks and other coordination software
• Understand BIM execution plan and implement it on project
• Set up the project BIM standards as per project requirements
• Coordinate, with Design Engineers, the information required to prepare BIM and generate drawings and quantities
• Generate 4D construction sequence in Navisworks
• Manage and log design and coordination changes
• QA of BIM models and Quantities/BOQ
• Estimate, plan and track the projects.
