Description Biochemistry – Medical Technology – Statistics Next Generation Technologies in Radiometer is seeking a dynamic Biochemist with strong statistical skills. The New Technology team identifies, evaluates, and matures technology for integration in our POC analyzer platform. As part of this team, you will work primarily with development of next generation parameters for blood analysis. Your responsibilities and tasks will include: •Collaborating with cross-functional team members and external partners in the development of the next generation parameters for the Radiometer analyzers •Design test protocol, perform data analysis, and make investigation and reporting •Develop tests and actively participate in lab work •Responsible for bio-statistical analysis components - Develop and/or apply statistical theories, methods, and software needed. However, we believe that the following formal qualifications will improve your chances of success: •Ph.D. in Biochemical/Chemical engineering or biosciences, strongly founded on biostatistics •Experience from hospital central lab and/or development of medical technology is a strong asset •Experience with in vitro analysis of blood is an advantage •Experienced in planning and doing lab investigations •Experienced in completing statistical analysis, preferably laboratory tests data using SAS JMP You must be passionate and committed about what you do, as well as: •Team-oriented with an assertive personality. •Organized analytical with a strong attention to detail. •Ability to understand, interact and communicate effectively with others.
