Novo Nordisk is growing rapidly, with an average top line growth rate of 10 percent over the last decade. We are 120 employees in Corporate Procurement and together with the global organisation, we manage the total external spend of DKK 25 billion. We do this by building strategies and executing improvement projects to optimise the global spend related to, e.g., R&D activities, marketing services, travel, professional advisory services and IT. Transparency, accuracy and consistency in our global spend is therefore extremely important. We collaborate with senior stakeholders and their teams across the organisation. We work fact-based, are dedicated to collaborative problem solving and take active leadership for the initiatives we are involved in. We invest significant resources in developing our employees through, e.g., coaching, frequent feedback, formal training and by offering large responsibilities. Corporate Procurement is anchored with direct report to the CFO. The job As a Business Analyst in Corporate Procurement your main objective will be to deliver correct spend data to our Category Managers for sourcing plans, supplier meetings, stakeholder meetings, presentations etc. In order to succeed, you must know how the spend data is derived through the systems, proactively capture what information our Category Managers need and apply the necessary business and budget understanding to finally be able to deliver an outcome of high value. In addition, you will also be responsible for improving global processes in collaboration with your global procurement colleagues. Your ability to manage stakeholders, apply simplicity and yet ensure a high quality are key enablers to succeed. Examples of processes you will be improving are: spend categorisation, benchmark analysis, savings target setting and savings reporting. You are required to structure your work so you optimise your collaboration with our colleagues in our procurement function in India. Qualifications You have completed a Master Degree (in e.g., economics, business administration, engineering or supply chain management) with a top 15% GPA. You have 1-3 years of experience as Business Analyst in a finance/procurement function in a leading organisation or management consultant from a top tier consultancy. You like working with IT systems and have strong analytical skills. At the same time it motivates you to understand the business and what the stakeholders need. You pay attention to the details but it is just as important to understand your data in a broader context. You can communicate clearly and concise and you are comfortable giving presentations. You are ambitious, like to show results and it is natural for you to drive continuous improvements. Experience with a major ERP system, especially SAP/Ariba, is an advantage.
