About the department Strategy & Capacity Support is part of CMC Development, the area within Novo Nordisk’s Research & Development organisation that develops, manufactures and distributes new drug candidates for clinical trials. CMC Development employs approx. 1,400 employees and is organised in six functional areas of expertise. CMC Strategy & Capacity Support is part of the central support function that provides cross-organisational support to the front-end areas. Strategy & Capacity Support is a small unit that drives strategic processes, e.g. development of the annual Business Plan and Balanced Scorecard, across CMC Development ensuring that business direction and targets are aligned across the organisation. The unit also drives long term strategic planning in the area of investment management and is involved in development of business cases as well as planning and execution of investment projects. Close cooperation with other business areas such as Global Research, Corporate Finance and Corporate Facilities is an essential part of the function’s role. The job As Business Analyst you will be involved in driving some of the cross-organisational strategic processes including development of templates and tools. You will support strategic projects from data collection and analysis to development of business cases and recommendations. To succeed, you will need to proactively build and maintain relations to relevant internal stakeholders. On an on-going basis you will prepare presentations for senior management, governance boards and other key stakeholders. We expect you to actively contribute to the continuous development of the unit and to CMC Development. Please note: The position is time limited to 31 December 2016. Qualifications You have completed a relevant Master’s Degree (e.g. business administration or economics) with excellent results. Ideally, you have 2-3 years of experience with project management from Novo Nordisk, another pharmaceutical organisation or a well-reputed management consultancy company. As a person you are known for excellent analytical skills, strategic mind-set and an ability to deliver on tight deadlines. You are ambitious with a high level of drive, initiative and persistency. You are result-oriented and like to be challenged. You excel at navigating in an environment with many stakeholders and at facilitating collaboration across organisational borders. Ultimately, you are a strong communicator capable of preparing clear and concise communication material for Novo Nordisk senior management.
