About us:
At Nature Energy our goal is to become a global market leader in biogas. Over the past 5 years, Nature Energy has invested more than 1 billion DKK in seven biogas plants in Denmark. Together with the owners Nature Energy have set ambitious goals for the development of biogas in Denmark and internationally.

The green gas produced by Nature Energy is based on livestock manure, household waste and other types of waste. This reduces the emission of greenhouse gases and replaces fossil fuel based natural gas.

The assignments:
As part of the high performing finance team, your role will be to lead all financial analysis related to new investments and operational optimization projects. You have a strong business acumen with a high level of interest in the following topics:

  • Investment business cases

    • This includes the financial modelling and presentation, but also driving the process and establishing the input through interaction with internal experts

    • New investments is mainly related to the construction of new biogas plants, but further includes M&A projects and introduction of new technology on existing biogas plants

  • Operational analysis

    • Providing financial analysis to support projects targeting operational optimization

    • Supporting biomass procurement in the assessment of commercial terms

  • Portfolio analysis focusing on benchmarking and monitoring the value creation ability of the individual biogas plants

  • Participate in strategic analysis of new business areas and geographical expansion

About you:

  • You have a relevant educational background e.g. MSc in Economics or Finance

  • The right applicant could potentially be an experienced individual (e.g. 2-5 years of relevant experience), but equally a graduate with strong academical skills and relevant work experience, where you have been introduced to M&A and investment analysis

  • You are a skilled IT user in general and in Excel and PowerPoint in particular

  • You are fluent in English, oral and written

  • You easily adapt to changing environments and you thrive in a high paced work atmosphere

  • You are a dedicated team player while also able to work independently with a proactive and solution oriented approach
