The job

In conjunction with the business partner, our new business analyst will provide a comprehensive financial support service to the business units in Carlsberg Denmark. The role has the primary local involvement in controlling processes such as Business Planning, Estimates, and Reporting. As Business analyst you are ambassador for utilizing common templates, processes  including local adoption of Group processes & tools. Further to the role, we expect you to proactively challenge the status quo, and by building, developing, standardizing and populating appropriate models to drive the business forward in cooperation with the Business Partners/Analysts in the different business units.

Your responsibilities

You will be the one to ensure and develop the Carlsberg Denmark Management Reporting with underlining standardization and data cleaning. Further more you will be coordinating and facilitating  planning process in cooperation with Central Business Partner. 

Your daily tasks would also cover; 

• Support on relevant accruals and functional activities during Period End Closing for Trade and Brand Marketing
• Communication of performance result to Business Partner and key stakeholders, participation in the business cycle where relevant
• Develop & standardize brand & customer profitability reporting across the business working with Group colleagues as appropriate
• Design, build, standardize, develop, maintain, populate and distribute the budget and estimate volume & GCC, GBC models across all functions,
• Create timelines, plan and facilitate Financial planning process
• Responsible for GL vs COPA discipline and the process related to it in SAP/BI
• Liaise with Group to standardize and streamline system processes
• BI responsible and coordinator within Controlling department
• Working with all key stakeholders, continuously develop and transform financial reporting and planning within the business

 

You will be part of the Central controlling team in Carlsberg Denmark together with 2 other Business Analysts and an extension of the team in Carlsberg Shared Services. You will have close cooperation with Central Business Partner Director, Finance & Marketing function and Center of Excellence in Poznan in our Carlsberg Shared Service

Your qualifications 
You are holding a master’s degree in Finance, Business administration, or accounting and you either recently graduated and are ready to kick off your first fulltime job or you have gained experience within finance in a similar job, preferable within the FMCG industry and now want to move on to a great job in a great company.
 
Besides the above mentioned, you are;

• A person with strong business acumen, combining strategic and analytical mindset with a broad commercial understanding
• Strong in MS Office
• Strong in IT understanding, preferably SAP experience
• Fluent in English, preferably also in the local language
• Good at communicating with stakeholders
• Gifted with a lean and efficient mind-set, not compromising thoroughness and quality
• A one-team- spirit - kind of person
• Structured, pragmatic and proactive
• Good at looking into betterments
• Able to work under pressure
