Business Controller for Shopper Marketing & Channel Development Finance

Do you have strong functional expertise in accounting/auditing and are you comfortable reaching out to stakeholders? Would you like to apply your knowledge in a corporate context and gain a broad knowledge of a global business and its processes through the finance arena? Ensure stable financial planning processes and improve financial transparancy Along with your 4 finance team members, you back up the Shopper Marketing and Channel Development area within the marketing organsiation by: Supporting financial processes and ensuring they are executed according to the LEGO® Group’s governance guidelines Being responsible for month-end and year-end closing processes within our internal marketing agency (Shopper Marketing Agency) as well as ensuring quality and timeliness in closing & reporting Supporting the yearly target process and the financial rolling full year estimate process Building a close relation to Shopper Marketing Agency Finance Business Partner and work as a team to deliver financial information and analyses Being a business partner to business stakeholders across financial processes, delivering ad hoc analyses and providing input & participating in key projects You support global processes and will work independently, yet interdependently, within your team which is dispersed across our global hubs. You will be based in Billund along with one other department member, and your manager is based in London. Good communicator with excellent accounting/finance skills As we operate with a complex business model, your challenge will be to break down complexity into simplicity. Being open and adaptable to change, and structured in problem solving is key to your success in this role, where also your approach to seeing diversity as a performance enhancer is important. Moreover, you: Hold a bachelor degree or higher within accounting, finance or business combined with deep analytical skills Have 2-3+ years of accounting/auditing or financial planning & analyses experience from a multinational corporation/company Are strong in both oral and written English. Having worked on the SAP platform or a similar financial platform is an advantage.
