Business Controlling is part of the William Demant Group’s central financial function, which is overall responsible for the Group’s financial management. The finance department continuously strive to strengthen its profile, with the purpose of becoming a premium financial business partner towards management and our business units. Consequently, we are looking for a bright, ambitious individual, who can contribute in our effort to strengthen the business controlling and performance analysis towards both Group management and our business units. The role With reference to the Director for Business Controlling, you will become part of the business controlling team comprised of nine employees, primarily based at our headquarters in Smørum. Contributing with financial performance management, including analyses and performance reporting for the Group’s management and other stakeholders, is part of the overall area of responsibility for Business Controlling. This concurrently includes a responsibility for the planning processes, which constitutes an important foundation in our financial management. Your focus is directed towards acting as Business Controller for the management of a specific business area. This includes building and ensuring correct and business relevant reporting and analyses. In addition, participation in activities associated within Business Controlling in general, such as financial management, budgeting, reporting and development of supporting IT tools is part of the role. Your tasks include: Reporting, financial performance analysis and support to parts of business management Active participation in the development and maintenance of Business Controlling’s management tools and financial management model Active participation in the Group’s budget process in general Participation in cross-organizational activities and projects As we are an organisation in continuous growth, you will to a large extend, have the possibility to influence the content of the position. Experience and qualifications The ideal candidate has a M.Sc. in Finance and preferably some experience from a financial department. Through this -and your studies, you have developed solid IT skills and you confidently use IT as a tool for analyses and reporting. As a person you would consider yourself ambitious and as a fast learner.
