Working closely with the business In Business Controlling, we are currently ten colleagues, and part of the corporate finance function based at our headquarter in Smørum. Business Controlling is responsible for the overall financial performance management for the group. The team is dedicated to continuously strengthening its profile, in order to act as a trustworthy and valued partner towards the business. As a Business Controller, you will work closely towards a dedicated business area. You will be responsible for developing business relevant analysis and reporting for a specific business area. Further, you participate in the tasks and responsibilities within Business controlling in general such as: Reporting, financial analysis and support to business area management and Group Management Active participation in general development and maintenance of Business controlling analysis tools and finance models. Active participation in the group planning process in general Participation in cross functional activities and projects. As the William Demant Group is a dynamic corporation, it is also in a state of constant change. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to develop the business controller role and of course yourself. Business Controller with good interpersonal skills The ideal candidate holds a Master degree within Finance, has flair for IT tools preferably combined with experience from a similar position as a business controller or business finance analyst. As a person you are ambitious and thrive on being close to where the business critical decisions are taken. You have strong financial skills and have the ability to understand complexity and create overview of these. It is important that you have an extrovert personality in the sense that you proactively like to interact as a business partner that gets involved in the business. Your communication skills are above average and you are proactive and productive in your work. Also you are a structured personality and have an analytical approach to your work. You will become part of a strong team and it is important that you are a team player that is good at building relationships in the organization, yet you also thrive on working independently. As a person you find it a positive part of the job that you are sometimes challenged by very high complexity and expectations, while also at other times handle routine tasks as part of your job.
