Business Controller in Corporate Facilities Finance

We are looking for a Business Controller for our Finance team to help us drive financial processes, internal reporting and business development opportunities. About the department Corporate Facilities is part of Finance, Legal and Investor Relations in Novo Nordisk. We are responsible for building projects, facility services and security throughout Novo Nordisk in Denmark. We are around 300 employees with responsibility for an additional 1000 outsourced service positions. The finance team in Corporate Facilities consists of eight dedicated employees with financial backgrounds. We are responsible for an annual cost budget around DKK 2 billion and a net book value of DKK 3 billion. Our work atmosphere is informal but ambitious, with expectations for solid and dedicated performance. The position As Business Controller, you will help to drive our business, set financial strategies and implement financial governance. You will partner with departments in Corporate Facilities to develop and drive financial controlling, budgeting and management reporting. Work tasks also include development and execution of business plans, financial forecasting, monthly closing and project controlling. Further, you will engage in cross-functional finance projects focusing on business development, help develop and optimise financial processes, and deliver Ad hoc financial analyses to management. Qualifications We expect you have completed a relevant Master's Degree (i.e. cand.merc, cand.oecon or equivalent) with excellent results. You are about to start you career or have 1-3 years of experience working with budgeting, controlling, reporting or financial analysis. You have a self-starter mind-set and a track-record of identifying opportunities and implement solutions. You have strong analytical skills and show a strong sense of responsibility, fully owning your work tasks while driving performance and continuous improvement. Experience working with a major financial system is an advantage, especially SAP. In addition to being fluent in written and spoken English, as well as a Scandinavian language, you should be a proficient user of IT tools and ready to invest both time and efforts in your personal and professional development.
