Would you like to play a vital part in supporting transformational change in the LEGO Group? In this role, you will be the business controller for a newly created Corporate Management area (OCB – organisation capability building). You will support business transformation via controlling and analysis of the OCB organisation costs where your aim will be to establish transparency and effectiveness in both the short and long term. This will involve: • Conducting cost centre controlling for OCB, including leading monthly updates and reporting of spending to keep track of costs and ensuring changes are accurately reflected in SAP • Supporting annual and monthly estimate process, ensuring cost requests are comprehensive and robust • Challenging on-going spending decisions, ensuring investments are effective and efficient • Conducting ad hoc analysis and presentations to support the broader OCB Finance Organisation Support the Overall Strategic Finance Team and the Broader Finance Organisation Additionally you will support the broader Strategic Finance team through leading coordination of team meetings and TIP updates and supporting broader learning and training initiatives in the Finance Community.Further your thorough business understanding Here, you join a supportive network that will help you develop deep expertise and a thorough end to end business understanding. Strategic Finance consists of 19 colleagues based in Billund and London. You report into the Director for OCB Finance. You will be working out of either London or Billund and traveling about 30 days a year. Substantial business experience and financial authority To succeed in this position, you have to be able to navigate in a global environment and communicate complex financial details in a clear and simple manner. As a person, you are a self-starter and can work independently with your tasks, but you also know and understand when to reach out for support or help. As prior experience we are looking for candidates who: Have 2-4 years’ experience as Business Controller or another position giving you a solid financial understanding combined with strong academic qualifications (Master’s degree or equivalent) Have a track record from a large international company, making you comfortable in searching for answers and reaching out for support or help Are proficient in Excel and any experience with SAP experience an advantage Have strong communication, collaboration, networking and stakeholder management skills which will be necessary for you to ensure alignment and challenge business areas Speak and write English at a high level. To note the global aspect of the role requires flexible working hours, especially around month end closing.
