Would you like to know more about the energy markets and help ensure the continued development of our external portfolio management activities? Join us and become Business Developer on the External Portfolio Management Desk which is responsible for managing external clients' energy exposure. We offer a range of products, all centred on creating and executing trading strategies in the market via exchanges and/or OTC markets. You will be part of an ambitious and hard-working team of experienced energy traders and you will gain an in-depth understanding of commodity markets as well as the downstream part of the value chain. We have a large interface with both the sales departments and other parts of the organisation. The department is part of Customers & Markets, which has 1,600 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We handle the production from our wind farms, power stations and oil and gas fields to the energy exchanges and customers in Northern Europe, and we distribute electricity and natural gas to businesses and private customers in Denmark. You will be based at our office in Virum in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility The position entails significant responsibility for you, and the quality of your work has a direct impact on the department's performance. You will be responsible for tasks related to the development of IT tools used for the management of our portfolio, development of new portfolio management products and be a key point of contact for the organisation. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •manage and improve the current technical setup and streamline processes •help develop and implement the strategy for the area •carry out performance reporting •secure excellent cooperation with clients and the rest of the organisation. Your profile You have recently graduated and/or have relevant work experience. You have good programming skills (VBA etc) and a strong analytical mindset. It is important that you work in a structured and proactive manner and thrive in a dynamic environment. Finally, it is important that you are a strong team player and have excellent communication skills.
