Job Description

Danfoss Cooling – Food Retail is looking for a Business Development Manager in Europe with location in one of the central Danfoss sales offices. You will become part of a truly global team consisting of dedicated and enthusiastic professionals. Your role will be business development of food retail electronic services in Europe. You will establish new and maintain existing business. You will work within the sales organization in order to earn customer loyalty, develop market share and deliver sales growth within the cooling segment. Your main tasks include meeting customers and identifying opportunities, supporting project execution to secure recurring business and creating alignment between stakeholders in close collaboration with the service operations. Working with colleagues across functions and locations is key in achieving this successfully. As a person, you are proactive and has a drive “to push”. You are a strong team player who can interact and communicate well with others including upper management as well as operational customer employees.
 
Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you must have a Master’s degree in business/sales combined with solid sales experience along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• 10 years of experience in sales and minimum 2 years of experience in service sales for projects
• Experience with e-delivered services
• Capacity to work with and through others in a matrix organization
• Knowledge within monitoring and services business, incl. associated processes and delivery models
• Understanding of the HVAC, automation industries, food retail industry and/or energy management
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
