Business Development Manager–Strategy and New Business, Animal Health & Nutrition Animal health and Nutrition is one of Novozymes’ strategic growth platforms aimed at accelerating growth together with our customers, and the Strategy and New Business department plays a key role in enabling this. Through business development, strategic partnerships and M&A activities we identify, create and develop new business areas within Animal Health & Nutrition. Qualifications We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven person with strong network building skills and capabilities in independent decision-making You are able to think strategically about new business opportunities and are able to translate this into business opportunities that Novozymes can execute on You must have strong analytical skills, experience in driving strategic projects and the ability to set clear priorities We expect you to have an educational background at Master’s or PhD level plus 4-7 years of industry experience in marketing, business development or top-tier management consulting Experience from the animal health and nutrition or agricultural industry is a plus, but not required Fluency in English is a must Our environment is one of passionate, driven and committed colleagues that hold a global perspective on business and life. The position is based at our headquarters in Bagsvaerd, DK. Challenges You will join a team of 5 business development managers, but will work with colleagues across the Novozymes organization. In your daily work, you will participate in cross-functional teams comprising R&D, M&A, Finance and Legal, and you will either be a contributor or the project lead. Much of your time will be directed towards collaborating with strategic partners or end customers. The projects you will work on will be within our new growth areas “Feed Ingredient Processing “ and “Animal Health” but you should also expect to lead strategic projects reporting to the senior leadership, i.e. acquisitions, in-license opportunities and strategic investments within the animal health and nutrition area. This entails: Translate ideas and market insights into concrete concepts, business cases and projects Negotiate, establish and structure partnerships related to joint development of new products Drive projects together with strategic partners and customers Support the leadership team in strategic decision-making Rethink tomorrow Novozymes is the world leader in bioinnovation.
