Business Development Partner for IT Project Execution Department

Corporate IT consists of more than 400 highly skilled IT professionals responsible for all major IT projects, systems, infrastructure and operations in Novo Nordisk. The global IT landscape in Novo Nordisk covers more than 40.000 clients worldwide, with major business processes covered by corporate systems based on SAP, Siebel, Microsoft, EtQ Reliance and Oracle. About the department For our Project Execution department in the Corporate IT area covering IT, Quality and Corporate Development (ITQCD IT), we are looking for a Business Development Partner. You will be managing a team of 8 direct reports and about 100-200 indirect reports, incl. consultants and internal project staff. The department is responsible for developing and managing an IT project portfolio consisting of app.15 projects, all with total project cost above 5 mDKK. Key stakeholders include senior management, boards and committees across different business areas and regions globally. You will be referring to the Corporate Vice President of ITQCD IT. The job Your responsibilities will be focused on managing the portfolio of IT projects and programmes, and driving the yearly delivery of the IT strategy covering the area. Creating and maintaining close customer relationships will also be one of your key responsibilities through participation in project Steering Committees and other relevant bodies in Novo Nordisk. You will also be coaching project directors, senior project managers and specialists with regard to choices, alternatives and decisions in projects. Your responsibilities also include quality and compliance by supervising that considerations are incorporated into programmes and projects with the aim of securing quality assured solutions and systems that meet regulatory standards and expectations. Qualifications You have minimum 7-10 years of experience related to IT Project Management, IT Strategies and IT System Management. You hold a Master’s degree, MBA or similar graduate degree in relevant field (Business Administration, Economics, and Computer Science). Further, you have broad experience with IT development, system implementation, project management, and programme management, and experience with and understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements. You have strong analytical skills, and strong relationship and communication competencies, both internal and external. You have strong coaching, motivation and leadership skills, including feedback on performance related to deliverables. You have the ability to balance multiple stakeholders and interact with senior management on a regular basis. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are a prerequisite.
