If so, then you may be the candidate that we are looking for as Business Innovation Specialist in Vestas’ Innovation & Concepts department as part of the Innovation Management team.

Innovation Management is accountable for market and business analysis within future trends and disruptive energy solutions.
Additional Innovation Management has the responsibility for the development of the innovation portfolio incl. the process for the technology- and innovation roadmaps and ensuring that it has sufficient perspective and innovation height to secure competitiveness in the mid and long term.
Finally, is Innovation Management also responsible for developing strong and competitive innovation processes and capabilities to support a strong and targeted innovation approach. We are a small team with high drive and intensity based on the wish to make a difference.

Responsibilities
You will report to the Senior Director for Innovation Management and will be part of the Innovation Management and market team in Innovation & Concepts. You will the business lead in a number of innovation projects as part of multiple cross functional project teams. Your responsibility includes:
- Build business justification for innovation projects and market pilots through business case modeling of various concepts targeting the renewable energy sector. The business cases can vary from very early validation to full scale commercial business cases
- Developing business and market analysis including technology perspectives through continuous research to ensure high quality project decision making
- Engage with potential customer and internal sales units when defining commercial pilot project to ensure customers insight and customers perspectives is a core part of the project foundation
- Investigate future market and technology trends thought industry research
- Drive Business Model Innovation in our innovation projects defining new value steams and value propositions
- Contribution to opportunity mapping for the innovation portfolio of Innovation and Concepts
Qualifications
- You have a relevant Master's degree within business development or technology with a focus on business and strategy (e.g. Cand. Merc. or similar)
- You have 4-6 years of experience from a similar position, from either an international organisation or consultancy
- You have experience with business modelling within the sustainable energy sector
- You have vast experience in scenario building and concept development in innovation project, combined with a solid technical understanding, which enables you to bridge commercial perspectives with technology development
- You have solid experience in communicating with a broad set of stakeholders on all levels
- You have experience working in cross company, cross national, cross-functional and cross-cultural conditions
