Alfa Laval Business Centre Membranes, Nakskov - is one of the world leaders in development, manufacturing and sales of crossflow filtration membranes, modules and advanced systems for liquid filtration. It is our goal to be the preferred partner when it comes to supplying and optimizing our customers’ requirements for separation solutions, where performance, reliability, quality and service is a must. Our product portfolio covers everything from microfiltration to reverse osmosis. Business Centre Membranes today employs 100 highly qualified employees. We are looking for a Business Manager to strengthen the sale of complete systems for the process, pharmaceutical and biotech industries as well as the food and beverage industry. You are a membrane expert and as one of our Business Managers, you will be supporting market units and the international sales organization and drive the sales, supported by your colleagues, our Engineering & Supply department and our Test & Application department. We are looking for a business minded person who has a relevant technical education at bachelor or master level and experience within the membrane field or with sales of advanced systems. The position is based in Germany or Denmark - your decision, and you should be prepared to travel between 50-100 days/year. Your tasks: •Travel to sales companies and customers for process and business discussions, seminars and training sessions. •Follow-up on leads, meet customers and drive sales to meet targets – this in cooperation with local sales companies, central market units and segments. •Produce and evaluate technical and commercial offers with sales engineers. •Actively enhance our knowledge of our customers’ processes. Your qualifications: •Experience with membrane technology •Experience from sales or sales support in Mid Europe •Relevant technical education with a business mindset •Good intercultural understanding and interpersonal skills •Customer focused, net-worker and team player •Eager to learn and fast at gaining new knowledge •Good language skills.
