Business Manager for the leadership team in Business Support

Business Support is the global organization dedicated to providing extraordinary support to secure and accelerate the Milestone business. The team consists of Global Finance, Legal & Compliance as well as People & Organization and Site Management for the HQ in Copenhagen.

As Business Manager you work “hands on” assisting the Business Support Leadership team in driving the leadership business cadence in Business Support. You oversee the business activities on a day-to-day basis to ensure that Business Support is on track to meet the team goals.

This includes Agile Performance Management, creative presentations for the Board as well as internal communication for Business Support. Furthermore, you drive the business planning process for Business Support both long and short term. You help us follow up on the agreed actions and activities. Together with the Leadership team, you develop the tools to manage Business Support i.e. use Teams in a structured way, set up processes for the agile planning i.e. Trello and make sure that we capture the key actions from our meetings in a way that it can be shared broadly with the business support organization. From time to time, you will help the team make business cases for specific initiatives within Business Support as well as driving cross-functional ad hoc projects. You will work very closely with our CFO who is also your manager.

It is a vital role with a broad interface within the organization, and it is therefore paramount that you are a strong communicator – both orally and in writing with excellent collaborative skills. Your main contribution is to push forward the financial and operational objectives within Business Support to ensure a successful support to Milestone all-up.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Drive the performance cadence for Business Support incl. tools, processes and templates
  • Drive workshop and off-sites for business support leadership team
  • Make presentations to the Board and quarterly business reviews on behalf of business support
  • Make presentations for the CFO for various activities internal as well as external
  • Drive agenda for Business support Leadership team
  • Implement and oversee processes for increased efficiency and growth
  • Create business cases for Business Support when relevant
  • Make action minutes from leadership meetings and workshops
  • Drive planning processes within business support
  • Ad hoc projects

Who are you?

The ideal candidate for this position has a Master´s degree in either business or finance combined with a background working minimum 3 years as a consultant or similar position in an international high-tech B2B company. We also expect you to:

  • Have experience with agile way of working
  • Be super user MsOffice (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Have understanding of financial modelling
  • Possess up-to-date knowledge of relevant business trends
  • To succeed, you have a positive mindset and people know you as a high performing team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You also have:
  • Solid commercial understanding and a demonstrated experience within financial analysis
  • Flair for orchestrating people and projects and experience with working in an executive environment
  • Strong communication skills in English both written and verbally and used to extracting key messages from complex material
  • Strong persistency to be a finisher
  • Strategic and commercial mind-set
  • Excellent coordination skills and a very structured approach to your work
  • Project management experience
  • High energy level and willing to go the extra mile
