Business-oriented Senior Application Consultant – SAP ISU/Utility sector

Are you ready for a challenge as Senior Application Consultant in the utility sector, and are you a competent consultant who can work with the business on defining requirements and then translate them into IT solutions in SAP ISU? Join us and become Senior Application Consultant in the Meters and Market messaging department. We cover the IT tools that support the handling of meters, meter readings, time series, settlement and market messaging. We mainly use SAP ISU and are in the process of implementing Gridstream solutions. The department is part of our Group functions, which cover Group Support, Group Finance & Services and Group IT. In Group IT, we focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable and responsible company. You will be based at our office in Copenhagen, Denmark. Your key duties will be to •gather requirements from the business and together with the business perform analyses to establish the to-be solution •perform customisation •write specifications for developers and perform unit tests of these •participate in projects •handle incidents. You should be able to perform these tasks both remotely and on site. As a Senior Application Consultant, you will be involved in all our support areas. You will work closely with the business which is located in Denmark. Your qualifications and core competences include that you •hold a master's degree from a business school or a university or have another relevant academic background •have experience from a position as an application consultant in a utility company, and experience from a deregulated market is an advantage •have experience working with SAP from an IT perspective, ideally with SAP ISU; alternatively that you have experience with, for example, PM or MM •have experience with the gathering and validation of requirements, translating them into IT solutions, preparing specifications and performing customisation. As a person, you are structured, able to work independently and in teams and have good communications skills.
