The Business process Development is part of project management department, and is accountable for continuously improvements and standardization of project management. The Project Management organisation consists of 3 sub department including Project Managers and Senior Project Managers located in Denmark, UK, India and US. The total number of people within the area is 40. Responsibilities: As Business Process Development Specialist you will report to the Vice President for Project Management and you will be part of the management team. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and standardization of project management methodology within product development projects. The daily work varies from developing processes and templates, engaging with management to secure alignment, updating team sites, training the organization in various project management areas, supporting specific projects on specific activities as tailoring or lessons learned and also being a part of setting the strategy for the overall department. Your main tasks will include: Drive optimization and standardization of project management methodology with linkage to department strategy and capacities Engage with the management team in Project Management and the project managers to ensure readiness at department level to adapt to new ways of working with project initiation and execution Drive, define and develop strategic initiatives within project management area with linkage to cross functional Vestas strategic targets Ensure communication and change management activities during deployment of new standards to project environment – both in the team and across other business units Facilitate and collect lessons learned in projects in TSS for continuous improvement of project management standards Develop training sessions and train and facilitate the organisation in usage of new processes, activities and templates Train the organisation in Vestas Way to Market Awareness and The Project Execution Model, including continuously develop modules together with related PMO functions to ensure full values chain focus Participate and engage as Business Process Expert for Project Management in the Business Process Expert Forum to ensure project execution processes are optimized in accordance with best practise across the Vestas Way to Market work areas Drive optimization and deployment of changes to Project Management work area in Vestas Way to Market Drive optimization and deployment of changes to Vestas Way to Market Project Execution Model Engage and review optimization of other process areas with interfaces to the project management process Ensure administration and maintenance of department team sites and action logs in order to secure data availability for Management, Project Managers and project environment Qualifications: The position requires process management skills and experience, as well as business understanding. It is vital that the person in this position can communicate clearly to people on all levels in the organisation. We see the ideal candidate possessing following: You have experience within organization development, strategy and communication You have proven knowledge about Project Management process and methods based on Prince2 principles You have high awareness about value chain dependencies, systems and key interests You make usage of a holistic approach, but still detail oriented You are a good communicator and networker You are experienced in training and facilitation of larger groups You are analytic, structured approach in process development You are a solid driver, and persistent in getting things done You proactively seek knowledge from projects internally as well as seek knowledge from outside Vestas on project management best practises You are Prince2 certified You have skills in SAP DMS, SharePoint team sites, general database usage You have skills and experience as mentor and mentor/mentee setup Additional information: Your
