Microsoft’s Western Europe Area CSU is looking for a talented Business Program Manager to work on future reporting, analytics and learning models for its consumption business in High Potential (HiPo) accounts across Azure, O365 and Dynamics cloud businesses and to support the deployment and enablement of Consumption and Adoption Acceleration programs.

 

As a company, we are birthing new cloud platforms where consumption is the revenue driver and sales conversations are getting more technical. We have strong cloud services in market today with Azure, O365 and Dynamics that help Microsoft deliver our hybrid cloud value proposition to customers and be a leading solution in this competitive market.

Responsibilities

The CSU Area Business Program Manager will play a key role in ensuring that the investments land successfully by providing the insight necessary to drive and tune programs across the many different partners in corporate and the field. The primary objectives of this position are:

• Being the analytics lead in the CSU Area team owning the Consumption and Adoption analytics to drive impactful decision-making. Provide proactive analysis and insights as part of field engagement.
• Working with Sales Operations team to develop, implement and maintain metrics and dashboards with specific focus on HiPo Consumption Acceleration and Learning, aiming for excellence in monitoring consumption behaviour across the 12 Western Europe Countries, partnering within the EOU, OCP and Services
• Provide data driven insights and recommendations on motions and actions to drive consumption (by workload, industry, partner, life-cycle stage etc.)
• Elaborate the learnings and translate them into compelling communication packages to drive consumption revenue and usage impact and a consumption cultural shift for the Area and Country Teams, with our 2020 Strategy as North Star.
• Grow into becoming an authority on the Azure HiPo business and strategy. You will be the center point of data driven analysis to define and share insights with program owners, the Microsoft field community and executives.

Qualifications

 

You are a highly motivated person who thrives in a high-impact role leveraging data, analysis and partnership to deliver business insight that guides our approach to the cloud business.

 

You are highly entrepreneurial, high-energy and self-motivated with the following skills: Excellent business analysis experience, strong communication skills and experience developing reporting on a stable data platform. You are autonomous, results oriented and have a demonstrated ability to work on a diverse team and with a diverse range of people. Business analysis and reporting experience within Microsoft is a strong plus.

 

You should have 4+ years of experience in analysis or finance in support of sales or marketing. You have a strong understanding of Azure consumption dynamics and are familiar with consumption and usage metrics. You are willing to take on a big challenge with significant growth potential. Most importantly, you are a strategic thinker able to see opportunities and alternatives to leverage data and analytics in the business strategy.
