Create pioneering solutions As CAM Solution Architect, you create the platform that the rest of the Employees across the LEGO Group do their programming on. You will be working with an open innovation model together with supplier specialists on both software and hardware. Thus, you get to deliver new trend-setting standards within CAM programming and manufacturing on EDM and milling machines and you help renew our manufacturing processes. Moreover, you build interfaces and processes and ensure that our programming is uniform on a global scale. You do all this to create a safer programming platform, with optimal lead time, correct first-run results and to secure simplicity for users and in automation. Also, you: Ensure excellent quality by pre-programming relevant choices and thereby guide users and make sure that all personnel will always create exactly the same program for the same task Develop new CAM automation processes, just as you maintain and update existing processes, keeping them current and as efficient as possible Recommend milling strategies and collaborate with teams to find best solutions in CAM automation, and you develop new plugins to our CAM system Make an impact You join a number of specialists in Mould Design & Manufacturing, two of whom are CAM specialists. Together we act as partners across engineering, just as we communicate with other stakeholders to translate creative ideas into LEGO® Moulding technology and secure quality and standardised processes of the mould design and manufacturing globally. CAM expert with milling experience In this position you are at the frontier of CAM solutions. Thus, you are not limited by known solutions and systems, but help develop new market standards instead. What we aim to do has never been done before and there are no ready solutions, so to succeed, you: Hold a BA in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology Have thorough experience with and understanding of CAD-CAM CNC programming and manufacturing on 3 and 5 axis HSM machines including macro and template programming Know PowerMILL, PowerSHAPE or equivalent as well as EDM Machines and 5-axis CNC controllers like Fanuc, Roeders or Heidenhain Are well-versed in C++, C# and JavaScript Honour values like innovation and collaboration, and you communicate effortlessly in English Join the global LEGO® Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment across the LEGO Community.
