GN ReSound Ballerup - Denmark Published: July 16, 2014 The job GN ReSound is looking for a Project Manager to join the Software Project Management Team in R&D in Ballerup. It is the team’s objective to: • Plan, manage and deliver projects utilizing project management best practices and the corporate new product development process. • Communicate and set expectations with our partners in R&D and Global Marketing to produce value added products to our portfolio. The key tasks of the Project Manager are • Overall planning and scheduling of individual firmware development projects • Work with line managers to assign appropriate resources for the project team • Work with stakeholders in marketing and audiology to define requirements, with support from firmware technology specialists • Actively direct and control the project during the entire project life cycle • File the appropriate paperwork necessary for regulatory bodies (FDA, IEC, MDD) within the framework of the corporate product development (NPD) process • Provide status updates to senior management on a regular basis • Manage the defect resolution process To succeed in this job you must • Be able to plan a project with dependencies to other projects and programs and deliver expected scope in a timely manner • Be able to communicate clear and concise messages to stakeholders in order to facilitate decision making • Be able to manage cross functional teams • Be able to effectively manage change, both in scope and schedule The ideal candidate The ideal candidate for the job has • An education as Bachelor or Master of Science in a technical or engineering-related field. • In depth understanding and proven record of executing SW projects • 5 – 7 years of project management experience, preferably in embedded software • An IPMA or PMP certification • An understanding of waterfall and Agile development methodologies • Excellent verbal and written English skills are required.
