Are you Nets’ new Data Privacy Risk Manager?

Nets is at the centre of the fast evolving payments ecosystem and we are seeking a dedicated Data Privacy Risk Manager to help strengthen our focus on ensuring data privacy in our services.

Nets manages substantial amounts of data as part of our payment services, and ensuring continued correct use of this data is very important to us. Nets processes transactions and payment related data from many customers across the Nordics, and as part of our continuous improvements, we need a dedicated risk manager for the data privacy related risks. The Data Privacy Risk Manager role will interact closely with the business and IT, as well as the group units, where you will advise on data privacy management. You will work closely with multiple levels in the organisation. In order to succeed in this role you must be self-driven, and thrive in engaging and challenging the organisation.

The role is based in Copenhagen, placed in a cross functional team within the Technology unit, and will cover data privacy risks in the whole enterprise. Some travel in the Nordics will be required.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

• Responsibility for maintaining and continuously improving the Data Privacy Risk Management process, including Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA), covering data privacy in both internal and outsourced activities.
• Raise awareness of (customer and regulatory) data privacy requirements and support data owners with risk workshop facilitation and guidance.
• Support the Head of IT Risk & Governance through the coordination and management of data privacy risk asseessments.
• Collaborate with business unit and group unit stakeholders on all key data privacy activities.
• Ensure regular risk reporting of data privacy risks and monitoring of mitigating actions.
• Help develop the maturity of data privacy processes and controls in Nets with other data privacy stakeholders.

Your professional qualifications and background should include:

• Relevant masters degree.
• 3-5 years experience working with risk management, audit or privacy compliance.
• Experience with, or good understanding of, privacy risk management.
• English as working language, and understanding of a Scandinavian language in addition.
• Familiarity with control frameworks and standards to propose relevant responses to changing business risks and regulatory changes.
• Relevant risk/privacy certifications is an advantage (i.e. CRISC, CRMA, or CIPP/E).
