Indirect Purchase is a part of Group Purchase, which is also responsible for sourcing of direct categories at a global level. You will join a very dynamic purchasing organisation that interact with a number of stakeholders across Grundfos sister companies and Group functions, where the team of Indirect Purchase is placed in Bjerringbro. Within Indirect Purchasing you are joining an ambitious team, where your effort makes a difference and has a direct business impact. We are a team with ambitions to take Indirect Purchase in Grundfos to an even higher level than where we are today. We strive to improve our approaches and we are proud of adding value to the bottom line in Grundfos. What is the job about? As a Category Manager within Indirect Purchase, your key responsibilities are to define strategies for the sourcing categories you are responsible for, to ensure the strategic development, leading negotiation with suppliers, optimising the supplier portfolio, analysing spend analysis to identify potentials, consider and compare total cost scenarios and building strong relations to internal stakeholders. You ensure that sourcing strategies are developed in cooperation with relevant stakeholders just as you explore opportunities for optimising total costs, analyse supplier market and spend, negotiate agreements and further develop and optimise the supply chain and the supplier portfolio. Your main area of responsibility will be Logistics, but there will also be similar responsibilities within other Indirect Sourcing categories such as Support Services. You will therefore build strong relations with internal stakeholders in other Group functions in the company and with sister companies. It is important that you continuously follow the trends and market development within your area of responsibility to be able to consider relevant benchmarks What do you need to apply? We’re looking for an experienced indirect purchaser with excellent interpersonal skills. You have: • a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience within Purchase and sourcing preferably from an international organisation. • the expertise and skills to manoeuvre in a large organisation with many stakeholders and are strong in building relations. • specific experience with indirect/service related sourcing categories. • experience within Logistics, perhaps with a background as Logistics Engineer or Forwarder could be an advantage. You are a skilled negotiator and have experience with leading negotiations. You speak and write English at professional negotiation level. Your experience enables you to work independently and gives you the confidence to negotiate at a strategic level. Further, you are used to collaborating across functional and organisational levels and you are able to prioritise and cope well under pressure. Finally, you easily develop and maintain trustworthy relationships - and an even closer collaboration between Grundfos and our suppliers, thereby determine our leading position.
